7/30 THE REAPERS SHOCK THE BAY! THE REAPERS SHOCK THE BAY! The Reapers stun the Mighty Astoria Knights with an stunning Overtime victory that will send them into the A Elite Finals! The setting a hockey rink off Coyle street and Voorhiees as you all know as THE BAY, and not Lake Placid. A squad of seven gritty men and a goalie who can hold his own in big games all took their game to the next level for at least one night of play. Missing many big guns in their line up they were still able to provide the most memorable win. The 9 and 1 power house from Astoria would get on the board first with an Rob Alibrandi goal and this usually gets the steam roller going but instead Mike Goucher would put home a breakaway goal for a 1-1 game after one and then you knew it was on! A back and forth battle would commence as Mike Carpanini makes for a 2-1 Astoria lead but Reapers Dimitri Kotlyar would put home a short handed breakaway goal with 4:45 remaining in period two for a 2-2 game as the struggle would continue. Just a minute later Rob Alibrandi would put home his second of the night and the Knights would take a 3-2 lead into the third. Early on in the would be final session Dimitri Kotlyar would strike again off a rebound for a 3-3 game, oh the action. But soon after Mike Carpanini would put his Knights back on top again this time 4-3 connecting on his second of the evening. The game had the feel like you were just waiting for the Astoria Knights to take that two goal lead but it would just never pan out for the club. Time running out under three minutes to go Reapers pressuring and franchise Reaper Michael Goucher wouldn't let his team down because he was in the mood to play hockey and evened the game at four with 2:41 remaining in regulation. Jesse Hetzler Owner of the Reapers club and Jackie's deli know for taking late penalties, making sandwiches and wrapping his new Reaper logo tattoo in plastic before games would get called for holding with under two minutes to play. Billy Fox not Pat Black (he had late dinner plans) made many big saves on the night but also came up big in the final two minutes of play, the game would soon need overtime but not much. Just :52 into the the extra session an Astoria mishap deep in their own zone Goucher (again), would intercept step around a defensenman and then sneak one in past the goal crease and the miracle on Coyle street was complete. Reapers 5 Astoria Knights 4 OT final. The seven men and a goalie who were involved in the upset. Mike Goucher, Mike Byrne (hockey gods spoke), Dimitri Kotlyar, Jesse Hetzler, Sam Pontillo, Justin Dooley, PJ Mac (he's 45) and goaltender Bill Fox (the long awaited). Moving on, now the Reapers will go for two Kings Bay Cup titles in one season. The A Elite title vs Marine Park and the BIG B vs the Kings, History will be made! Stay tuned for dates, playoff stats and some crazy polls. This is "The Bay" Hockey!

7/29 The Reapers will be shooting for a third Cup, some Men are just too Mad to go down and a Dragons upset? The Reaper and Kings will both be going for Kings Bay Cup number three and the winner will be on top of the heap with most Cups won in the BIG B. Mike Gouch would open up the scoring for the Reapers to horns but friendly foe Patrick Mulroy would have two answers as the Blanks would leave period one up 2-1. But in period two Goucher would shout back for two more and it would soon be Goucher 3 Mulroy 2, I mean Reapers 3 Shooting Blanks 2 after two. Could the Reapers hold on in the final session and stop the four game skid against the high scoring Blanks club including last seasons finals? The skid would end as Dooley and Clingo would hook up in the third and Paulie Lind would put the final nail in the coffin with a slap shot from the point. The Reapers are Kings Bay Cup bound and a meeting will be set up with the Kings for glory, indeed stay tuned for the up coming dates! The Mad Men will be headed off to the Draft League finals with a win over the Cool Runnings Crew. After Munday and Conte would trade goals after one the Mad Men were able to win period two 3-2. The back breaker would be franchise owners Phil Rykla's snipe with just :33 tics left in the second and a 4-3 lead going into the third. After a back and forth struggle for space in the final session Dom Rubino would deliver the final blow with a cannon from the point that would dart home and take those Maddest Men into the Draft Finals. Quick stat flash Dom Rubino has played in every draft league final and has most cups won as a draft player with three out of the four titles. Mad Men will now see Charles Sbrigato's Dragons in the best of three series. No number one team draft pick no problem as the Dragons were able to get by the confidant Zorros heading into play. The Zorros came out with the fire first with a two zip lead but a very late goal from Charles had the Dragons thinking positive again like a number one seed. After Delcallime would give the Zorros a two goal lead again, late show Peter Pas would get his Dragons back within one with a turn over blaze. Fill in Dragon player Steve Balsan would bury a Sbrigato rebound and we had a 3-3 tie going into the final session. After missing two earlier breakaway attempts Dimitri Kotlyar would convert in the third for the fire breathing Dragons twice, putting his comrade's ahead 4-3 and then 5-3 for a two goal lead. The Zorros would get a late one back on a Billy Buckman goal but Dragons goalie Billy Fox would hold the fort down the rest of the way and send the Dragons franchise into the their third Cup appearance with two Cups to show. It's the Dragons and Mad Men left, one team will lift the Cup. Backed up on playoff stats but all that good stuff will be updated shortly. I'll see ya soon!

7/28 Marine Park third period push gets them into Finals while the Mad Men roll into the semi's in Draft! A back and forth scoring battle through two between Marine Park and Sky Line and the two teams were tied at five through the fist thirty minutes of play. Maine Park would have a two goal lead twice through those periods with a 3-1 and 4-2 lead only to see the Sky Line wipe out the deficits and tie the game at five on a penalty shot tallied by Bobby Kasimis. But the A Elite Scoring champ would come through in third. KC Krober would put home back to back goals for the Park finishing off his hat-trick and adding an assist for a four point night. The Park would score the next two goals as well build their lead and skate away with a 9-6 victory. Marine Park is headed for the A Elite Kings Bay Finals and will face the winner of the Astoria Knights Reapers game to see who they will battle in the best of three series for the Cup. In draft play the Mad Men stormed out the gate after one with a 4-1 lead, but drama would unfold in the second. As Mad Men starting goalie Scott Adelle went to race for a loose puck he pulled an undisclosed body part and wasn't able to finish the game. On the play Joe Jensen was able to get to that puck and tuck it into the empty net for a 4-2 game. Fill in League goalie Kevin "Slim" Rothchild was called upon and came to the rescue for the Mad Men finishing the game. After making a couple of big saves in relief the Mad Men would pick up the play. G. Soriano would score the next two Mad Men goals and finish with four goals on the night while Bob Munday would put home two and dish two off for a four point outing. Final score 8-3 and the Mad Men will tangle with Cool Runnings Crew tonight for the right to go to the Draft League Finals. It will be a game time decision if Mad Men starting goalie Scotty Adelle will be able to dress or draft league goalies will be called upon. Playoff stats will be updated shortly.

7/24 Week 15 Schedules Posted.

7/22 A Crew Runs Cool into the Semi's while Reapers and Shooting Blanks get postponed! A goal scoring parade with seventeen goals scored combined the Cool Runnings Crew were able to out mesh the Flids 10-7. Flids left period one up 3-2 but Cool Runnings were able to take the final two periods by two, 3-1 and 5-3 for the 10-7 final. The game was a good one as the Flids were in striking distance only down a goal with just 6:02 remaining but the Cool Runnings Crew were able to connect twice the rest of the way for the win. Rich Conte lead the way for the CR Crew with a four goal night while Nick Mazzola was good for a trick. Barbuto and Weston also got in on the goal scoring affair. In the loss the Flids Mike and Mike, Byrne and Goucher both had a hat-trick each. Cool Runnings Crew move onto the semifinal round and will face the winner of the BMW Mad Men game while the Zorros will see the top seeded Dragons. All pages updated including Draft playoff league leaders.

7/21 Zorros mark a Z in OT, Knights poised for playoffs and Marine Park make a meaningless game meaningful! The Zorros and Bay Brewery set off the first Draft playoff game and set the tone. After the Zorros would come out flying they would soon build a for a 4-1 lead mid way through the second. The Bay Brewery would score a late goal at the end of the period to make for a 4-2 game going into the third and that had them thinking positively. The Bay Brewery would storm in the third scoring the next three goals for a brief 5-4 lead as the Zorros would quickly tie the game at five. A late power play goal with under two minutes to play would give the Brewery a 6-5 lead but with the Zorros goalie pulled the Brewery would put the Zorros on the power play taking a bad penalty for a two man advantage and an empty net behind them. With a scramble behind the Brew goal a pass off J. Espo's stick would hit Pat Mulroy as he would bury a puck top shelf for the game tying goal at 6-6 with only :14 left and that would send us into OT. Zorros were the more aggressive team in the extra session even though the Bay Brew goalie stood on his head the sandwich boy would come though. Ripping a shot from the top circle Jesse Hetzler Captain Zorro would end the game and send his team to the semi's. Hetzler's the hero so free hero's at Jackie's all day today! Two Pat Mulroy goals for the Astoria Knights and holding a 2-1 lead into the final session Astoria would get goals from Rob Alibrandi and Joe Barker skating away with a 4-1 win going into the playoffs next week. They will face off with the Reapers as Marine Park will go against the Sky Line. Marine Park took a 7-1 lead over the Reapers but would soon fall asleep as the game was soon 7-6 with 9:37 left in regulation. The Park would go up by two on a beautiful diving goal from Mike Russo but Reapers would strike again with 1:46 left for another one goal game. Reapers would press but the Park would sail in an empty netter from their own zone and that would seal the deal for the Park with a 9-7 victory. Marine Park's KC Krober would have a big night in the Bay putting up five of his teams points with a hat-trick and two assists but more important his big night wins him the A Elite scoring title with a 25 point season. As KC took down the scoring title Astoria Knights goalie G. Athanasiadis lead all goalies this season with a stunning 1.30 Goals Against Average while nailing down four shutouts. Final A Elite standings, team pages and league leader pages posted. Draft playoff stats will be posted shortly.

7/19 Week 14 schedules had to be readjusted, please check below your team captains will be notified.

7/18 Week 14 Schedules posted.

7/17 All Pages Updated. In the BIG B as you know where down to our final three teams ( Kings, Shooting Blanks and Reapers), what you might not of known is that all three of these teams have two Kings Bay Cups under their belt. The winner of this seasons Cup will take the lead with three Kings Bay titles for their franchise. In A Elite news Bobby Kasimis big seven point night puts him atop the A Elite Division scoring race with 23 points. Kasimis's season is over while KC Krober and M. Carpanini both have a game remaining to try and catch Bobby. Week 14 schedules will be posted shortly.

7/16 KINGS ARE BACK! Astoria take two and Sky Line gain playoff momentum! The Kings are back in the Finals yet again after knocking out the number one seed. Cautious play by both teams in the first but the Kings would take a one nothing lead into the second on a Mike DiCicco rebound goal. Bergen Beach came out on fire in the second on two back to back Bobby Munday goals but the Kings took the flame right back scoring the next three on McGregor, McGrath and DiCicco goals for a 4-2 lead going into the final session. Danny Balsamo would get Bergen Beach back within one with plenty of time remaining as the Kings McGregor would strike again just a minute in a half later to regain the two goal lead. Kings clamped down the rest of the way, took a 5-3 win and await the winner of the Shooting Blanks Reapers game for who they will face in the Kings Bay Cup finals. The Kings a tuff playoff club they are! Two Nick Carpanini second period goals would hold up for a 2-0 Astoria Knights win as in game two they would bring the ruckus. Putting up ten in their second outing Nick would finish off a hat-trick as Rob Alibrandi and Keith Mealik would put home two each. With the Knights two wins they clinch the A Elite division title. Knights goalie G. Athanasiadis all but locks down the Goals Against Average title with the duel shut out on the evening and only a game to play. Sky Line showed off their scoring tactics with a twelve goal out burst with Nick Dimisi leading the way with a four goal night as Bobby Kasimis followed him up with a hat-trick and two assists. Gus Katheis was sharp between the pipes for the Sky Line while the squad looks playoff ready in the winner. A Elite Team standings updated while playoff stats and all other pages will be updated shortly.

7/14 More rain in the Bay leaves our skates at Bay. Thursday night schedule updated.

7/13 Games canceled due to early rain storms and more in the forecast. Reschedule will be posted shortly, team captains will be notified.

7/8 Week 13 schedules posted! All pages updated including final draft stats, BIG B playoff leaders, box scores and more. In draft news Joe Jensen's BMW was idle this week and his 42 point season holds up to be another draft scoring title. That's four out of five for BIG JOE!

7/8 The Reaper Hex, Shooting Blanks say Whoa, Bay Brewery own the third seed as one man has a legendary night in the Bay! The Reapers continue to keep Marine Park at bay with yet another win over the club and move into the final four. After a score less first and lots of confusion before hand the Reapers would strike at 12:40 of the second when Mike Goucher would get behind the defense and tally on a break away for a 1-0 lead as the score would hold going into the final session. Almost at the same mark of the third Ryan Dooley would get behind a pinching defenseman and do the same for a 2-0 Reapers lead. A fluke goal from behind the net off a defenseman's skate would put the Reapers up by three and that would be it from their as they would skate away with a 4-0 win. Steve Balsan and Pat Black both get credit for the shut out honors in the win as they split the game but more on that later. With the Reapers win they get to meet a familiar face in the defending champion Shooting Blanks who they met in last seasons final. The Blanks would come out of the first with a 1-0 lead and take period two 2-1 for a 3-1 lead going into the third. Rich Conte would put the Blanks up 4-1 at the 9:39 mark but the game wasn't over just yet. The Donkey Punchers would get a goal back at 1:39 for a two goal game and strike again with :39 left for a one goal game. The Blanks would be able to hold off the Punchers late heroics in the final thirty nine seconds and take the win. A great effort by the Donkey Punchers who almost pulled it off as the Blanks fill-in goalie Steve Balsan made many key saves in this one to secure the win. But more on that later. Bay Brewery would put up eight and Alex Morozov would get credit for five of those as Brew goalie Steve Balsan would only give up four and secure the goalie title with the lowest goals against average. Steve's night started out with focusing on a team win, a goalie title and after conquering both in ninety degree heat his night wasn't over just yet. After the Blanks goalie wasn't able to attend his efforts were called upon, he would do his thing again helping the defending champs back into the final four. OK Steve you can go home now with a night to remember in the Bay, no not yet. Reaper goalie Pat Black is stuck in traffic and can't get to the game for another hour. Hey Steve can you play the first? No problem! After a shut out period in the first and not letting a goal by his crease the rest of his time served, with 8:38 left in the second Steve saw Pat Black was ready to go, used his goalie time out and called it a night but not before joining in on the Reapers winning hand shake. A night to remember and hopefully the 46 year old will still be breathing tomorrow so can sit back and enjoy his incredible night in the Bay! All pages will be updated along with next week's schedule late today.

7/7 A King of an entrance, Sky Line use every second and Bay Brew play spoiler! The Kings come out the gate in the second season with a head full of steam and make a statement. Putting up four in the first they added another six in the second and skated away with the W. M. McGregor and Richie McGrath both had hat-tricks in the first round playoff match. The Kings will await the winners of tonight's games to see who they will get in round two. Sky Line would find themselves trailing by three after two periods of play with the score board reading 4-1. The Sky Line wouldn't surrender and stormed back in the final session with four unanswered goals and took a dramatic come from behind win. With the game tied at four Bobby Kasimis new there was time for one last rush to go for gold. He would rip a wrist shot hitting all mesh then the buzzer would sound, getting the game winning goal with just about a second left on the clock. A motivating win for the Sky Line with playoffs approaching. The Bay Brewery would find themselves in a 2-0 hole early in the first but would get one back by periods end. Winning periods two and three by two zero each the Bay Brewery took down a 5-2 win. Alex Morozov and Pete Epolito both had two goals each while goal keep Steve Balsan made some stunning saves in the victory. The Bay Brew's win also kept Cool Runnings Crew from winning the division title as it will go to the Dragons who will get a first round bye. Cool Runnings will face the Flids in the first round and Bay Brewery have one more game left against the Mad Men and that will decide who they will play in round one. With a win they will play the Zorros and with a loss they will face BMW and that goes vice versa for the Mad Men. All pages will be updated shortly with playoff tree's coming.

7/4 Happy 4th of July. Wedesday schedule had to be fixed due to an extra game added. Please recheck Wednesday night and your caps will be notified as well of the change.

7/2 BIG B PLAYOFF POLLS ADDED. Everyone have a Happy and Healty 4th of July.

7/2 Week 12 posted! First round of the BIG B playoffs is up along with finalized BIG B stats and updated draft stats. Bobby Munday wins his second BIG B scoring title in the Bay, the 36 year old (Soon to be 37) still has a lot of gas left in the tank as his numbers continuously show for it.

7/2 The BIG B is all said and done! Reapers climb out of a hole by a slim margin, Blanks ready to defend, Kings come through after traffic and Zorros regroup! The Reapers would put themselves in a 3-0 ditch after one but would bring the storm in period two. Winning the period 4-1 they were even going into the final session. The Good Fellas would regain the lead and with time winding down under a minute to play the Reaper press was on. With a man advantage and Reaper captain taking cannons from every angle but missing the mark Andrew Manson would take over. Going end to end he would bury the equalizer with :17 remaining to send the game into OT, J. Flip would do the same on his first shift in the extra session and every Reaper would soon have a smile on their face in the big win. The Blanks are ready for playoff hockey and they know what they they own is on the line as their full squad was ready to go. Quarter Back Cory Johnson would hit mesh three times as capo Patrick Mulroy was good for two goals and four assists. J. Zadvydas was also in town while S. Pontillo served his suspension very ungratefully. The Quad Father showed up in the third while yours truly missed two empty nets and the Kings were able to take a 4-2 W. Ray Murray was big with a three point night, 2 goals 1 assist! The first round of the BIG B Playoffs kicks off next week and goes like this! Bergen Beach wins the division and will have a bye while the defending champion Shooting Blanks will face the Donkey Punchers, Reapers will tangle with Marine Park while the Kings and Good Fellas will go at it. In draft play the Zorros had their number one pick involved in play and were able to cruise with an eight goal outing. Ryan Dooley had a four goal night in the win and the Zorros have confidence going into playoff hockey. All pages have been updated!

7/1 Donkey Do, Dragons hold a tie break, Cool Runnings a game in hand and BMW put up a strong finish! Marine Park would trail 2-1 going into the final session but would get back to back goals from Charles Sbrigato and a nifty Rammy Alibahamid goal off the face off to take a 3-2 lead. But with just over two minutes left D. Punchers C. Ryan would knot the game at three on a partial break that he tallied and would eventually send this game into overtime. Greg Londis would sail a blazer home just a minute into the extra period and grab the Donkey Punchers the W. The Dragons would put up a bid for a division title with a 10-6 win holding down the number one seed with a tie breaker as Cool Runnings Crew have the same amount of points but still have a game to play. Cool Runnings Crew would just need a point out of their last game to clinch the division themselves. In the Dragons win team captain Charles Sbrigato had a seven point night with three goals and four assists while Dimitri Kotlyar was good for six points with four goals and two assists, yes this team has a lot of offense. They finished off the season with the most goals scored as a team with seventy seven. That could be a record, a look into the archives will be needed. In Cool Runnings Crew win they would put themselves in a 3-0 hole but stormed back with five unanswered goals and took a 5-3 win. Cool Runner Brandon Barbuto uplifted his team with a huge hat-trick in the come from behind win and dedicates one of his best games in the Bay in deep regret to a close friend of his, Carl Fuschetto who recently passed away. Great game Brandon and sorry for your loss from everyone in the Bay our thoughts and prays are with you. BMW finish off their season on a high behind their leaders Joey Jensen's five point night. Jensen would have a trick and two assists in the win while Steve Noto put home two. Jensens five point night finishes off his season with 42 points which should lock him down another scoring title, that would be four in five seasons. That's pretty good! A couple of teams have games left and the regular season draft should be wrapped up next week as we will move into the second season. The race tightens the plot thickens who will be the next draft champion? Standings pages have been updated, team stats and league leader pages will be updated later in the day.

6/29 Astoria Rock Marine Park Roll! The two teams are only a point apart in the standings as they keep moving forward and will meet next week in a game that could decide the division. Astoria Knights would take a 3-1 lead into the third and add three more for a 6-1 win. J. Messetti and Patrick Mulroy would both ring up two goals and an assist for a three point night in the W. Knights Goalie G. Athanasiadis was tuff between the pipes as usual only letting by one as he still leads all goalies in Goals Against Average. Marine Park would get their two points behind a big Alex Morozov and goalie Rob Molina night. Morozov would have a 5 point night with a hat-trick and two assists while his goal keep made many big saves on the evening in key moments of the game to secure the winner. KC Krober would have a three point night with a goal and an assist that would give him twenty points on the season, enough for the league lead all alone. All pages have been updated as we move on deep into the season.

6/25 That's what being a Good Fella is all about, More Dragon Fire, Mad Men happy and a Reaper edge! The Good Fellas and Bergen Beach were involved in a high scoring fast paced back and forth shoot out that was decided in the final two minutes of play. Bergen Beach would take a 6-5 lead into the third and the scoring would go like this the rest of the way. Score Fellas 6-6, Bergen Beach back at ya 7-6 lead, Good Fellas tie the game yet again 7-7 with just 2:45 left to play. Then Jimmy would serve Justice in the Bay. Getting free on a break he would go five hole and take down an 8-7 win. It was Jimmy's forth goal of the night. Back to back night's of heat from those Dragons, on this night they put up nine getting three goals from Kelly and two and two from Tosorrio and Kotlyar. Pas and Sbrigato hooked up three each and tallied once. The win gets the Dragons in a tie for first place with Cool Runnings Crew. A goal scoring frenzy took place in the Flids Mad Men duel as the two teams combined for eighteen goals scored. Big Bad Bob Munday had a huge night putting up nine points with a double hat-trick and a trick of assists. His team would wipe out 3-1 deficit after one then put up nine goals in period two and three on their way to a 10-8 win. The goalie's battled in the Bay last night as Reaper back up G. Berghorn and Bay Stallion were stingy through two both giving up none. The scoreless donut would be broken when Phil Rykla called up from draft would rip a J. Flip pass home for a 1-0 Reapers lead at the 10:54 mark of the third. Both goalies would stay on top of their game the rest of the way and that's the way this one would finish. Everything has been updated and Week 11 Schedules have been posted.

6/23 Hot Brew, Dragon Magic, Mad Men do well and Cool on a hot night Runnings hold the top spot. The fastest unofficial goal in Bay history might of been scored but as far as the memory goes back I don't remember one quicker. The Russian Rocket scored just six seconds into play as he blazed a wrist shot home to give the Bay Brew a quick 1-0 lead. The M &M boys of the Bay Brew (Manson and Morozov) would go on and combine for a eleven point night on the way to a 8-4 win. Boasting the most goals for in Draft league play the Dragons offense is potent. With their top three scorers all over twenty points (Kelly, Sbrigato and Kotylar) their three guns posted eleven goals in last nights play on their way to an 11-2 win. With the win the Dragons keep pace and remain only two points behind the first place Cool Runnings Crew. In the CRC match up it was like a draft playoff game with a total of only six goals scored. Cool Runnings would quickly find themselves in a two goal hole after one but would lock down the DEE from their on in giving up none the rest of the way while scoring the next four taking down a 4-2 win. Conte, Bennzer, Mazzola and Weston were the goal scorers for CRC in the W. The Mad Men would take a one goal lead into period two then score three unanswered for a 7-3 lead into the final session. They would give up two in the third but roll away with the 7-5 victory. Bobby Munday had a hat-trick and an assist with Genero Soriano having a five point night with two goals and three assists. Ian Statchel was also good for one and one, a goal and an assist that is. All Draft Standings, league leader Stats and team pages have been updated.

6/22 Rain Hurricane Games Canceled.

6/19 Week 10 posted below and all pages have been updated.

6/18 All BIG B stats updated. Draft stats will be updated shortly with Week 10 schedule.

6/18 Some Fellas are just too Good, Bergen Beach use their hands short and Shooting Blanks flex their status. The Good Fellas threw a party as they actually fielded their full team all at once and impressed. Banging out eleven goals with Jimmy Justice supplying five and Koslow providing a trick. Their goal keep Scotty Adelle also did a great job between the pipes sprawling to left sprawling to the right holding down a strong offense to only two. An atmosphere of playoff hockey was in the air when the puck dropped between the Reapers and Bergen Beach with the game living up to it's bill. Bergen Beach would take a 1-0 lead into the second, then the two teams would trade a goal each for a 2-1 game going into the final session. Just two minutes into the third Reapers Mike Goucher would deflect a shot from the point in and we were knotted at two. Dan Balsamo would get Bergen their one goal lead back with his second short handed goal of the night! Intercepting two passes he walked right in for two breaks he quickly nabbed the points. With time a wasting J. Clingo was able to slide one in with just 2:14 left and the game was suddenly tied again. But Bergen Beach would get another scoring chance and Danny Balsamo wouldn't miss! This time he ripped the game winner home finishing off his trick and taking the two points as the squad is close to clinching the division. The Shooting Blanks put themselves in a 2-0 hole after one but then got mad and showed their gang green! Putting home three in the second and adding another four in the third they skated away with a 7-2 win. Rich Conte had a four goal night with Peter Pas hooking up three goals and lighting the lamp once himself. Getting down to the nitty gritty in the Bay! All team stats and league leader pages will be updated shortly. Division Standings have been uploaded.

6/17 Bay Brewery first to do it with their own, Mad Men shoot a Gallery, Flids regroup and Bergen Beach put six on it. At the young age of 46 Bay Brewery goal keep Steve Balsan becomes the first to do so for his own team. Nailing down a shut out in draft play which isn't an easy task to ask. Earlier in the season Mike Sora was the first to accomplish the feat as he was filling in for another teams absent goalie, but Steve officially becomes the first goalie to do it for his own squad. Steve said he was more happy getting his team the two points and back to .500 but couldn't help to think about the shut out with eight minutes left to play. Just another page to add to his Kings Bay resume as he also boasts two Draft Cup appearances and one Cup title. He also leads all goalies this season in goals against average. The Brew played good in the win putting up seven as Andrew Manson had something to do with all of his teams seven scored putting up five goals and two assists. Before the drop of the puck some Men looked Mad but after they put up ten they were able to put a smile on their face. A well balanced team outing for the Mad Men as Cory Johnson, Bobby Munday and Phil Rykla all had four points each. In the loss Joe Jensen had a six point night and over takes the league lead in Draft scoring. His last point of the night was a feed to no other than Wayne Thompson who banged home a beauty. With a ton of complaints in the suggestion box and hatred towards the schedule maker the Flids fielded a full squad and got back to business. Putting up eight goals on the evening Matt Carlton lead the team with a four goal night as new recruit David Kalman had a goal and an assist. Kevin "Slim" Rothchild filled in for injured goalie Victor Leoung and made many big stops securing the win. Bergen Beach keeps rolling along, after a slow start they would open things up in period two and three and would skate away with a 6-1 win. Bobby Munday would have a four point night in the win and over take the league lead in scoring with twenty points on the season. Joey Graham was good for a goal and two assists and Danny Balsamo lit the lamp twice. Tuesday nights stats have been updated as so has last night's play's standings. Stats will be updated shortly in Draft and BIG B.

6/16 The Unit Split, Good Fellas put up the points and Astoria Knights move into sole possession of first! The Unit and the Donkey Punchers were involved in a good one and after the Punchers built a 3-1 lead after one, the the Unit would soon inch their way back into the game. Making it a one goal game after the second the Unit would tie the game early in the third and that good ole number 99 Mikey Byrne's go ahead goal at the 10:32 mark would hold up to be the game winner. Byrne ended up with two goals and an assist in the win. The Good Fellas Galliano knows how to put the biscuit in the basket. Connecting for four goals and adding an assist Galliano had something to do with five of his teams seven goals. The Good Fellas were good on this night for a 7-5 victory and walked away with the two well earned points. What the pace of roller hockey could be was displayed in the Astoria Knights Sky Line game as these two teams went at it in a high paced back and forth battle. After a scoreless first the two teams would trade two goals each in the second for a dead lock going into the third. Astoria's Mike Carpanini would break the tie early in the final session and J. Messetti would cushion his team with a two goal lead on his second of the evening. Sky Line would get back within one with 3:19 left only to see Rob Alibrandi of the Knights kill any chance of a come back connecting with just :59 left which was also his second goal of the night. Division Standings updated team pages and league leader spots are up next.

6/12 Week 9 Schedules posted.

6/11 All team stats, league leader pages and box scores updated. Week 9 Schedule will be posted shortly.

6/11 Reapers regulate, Marine Park roll and Cool Runnings Crew are back on top! Two four point nights each from Alex Morozov and Rammy Abdelhamid, both with a goal and three assists each were enough for the Park to skate out with a 6-2 win. After Marine Park built a good lead they were on their heals for a good part of the game but goalie Chris Falco was able to come up big and secure the victory. Ryan Dooley with a seven point night, Joe Jensen a four goal night, M. Erichson with two goals and two assists, and "the infamous" Reapers captain, the sandwich guy, the one you all know as Jesse Hetzler, goal and three assists. Reapers win big. Well their wasn't one in draft play this season and after a battle in the Bay between the Zorros and Cool Runnings we went to a shoot out. But before we get to that, CRC took a 3-2 lead into the third and built a 5-3 edge at the 8:21 mark. But those Zorros would storm back on a Pat Mulroy goal at 5:30 and Ryan Dooley's equalizer at 3:48. Time soon expired and that shoot out we went to. CRC's Conte and Weston were both able to connect on their attempts while fill in goalie Scotty Adelle was able to stop both of the Zorros big guns and claim the win. The 41 year old said it was a long and tiresome night after the W and he could still feel a couple of the shots he absorbed. Cool Runnings Captain Sammy Pontillo also had a big night scoring four of his teams five goals in regulation. All pages will be updated shortly, updated standings already done.

6/9 All Stats from last nights play updated.

6/9 Rain Out!

6/8 Heavy Weights Collide, Marine Park explode, another King Victory and four Dragons and a Fox! Astoria Knights and the Brooklyn Oilers the two Bay Heavy Weights went at it and it was a good one. Last night it was the Knights armor who would shine taking a 4-2 lead into the third and coming out on top with a 4-3 win. In the Win Rob Alibrandi's game was nasty scoring his teams first two goals but it would be Pat Mulory's lamp lighter that would hold up to be the game winner. Marine Park went on the prowl from the drop of the puck and they would continuously light the lamp. The Park's Steve Kelly and KC Krober would combine for a twelve point night with Kelly showing numbers of a double hat-trick and KC putting together one. With the win the Park improve to 3-1-1 on the season. The "Bay Stallion" Giovanni Petre was back between the pipes and continued his dominance in a Kings jersey. On this night he didn't let one by the goal crease till the third period at the 13:44 mark and that would break his consecutive streak of not letting a goal in for six straight periods of play. Wow, Way to go G. Also in the win the Kings would get scoring from the Murray brothers Brian and Ray as the Quad Father was also good for a goal and an assist. How bout that Quad Father? In draft play just having four skaters didn't effect the Dragons play but it might of perfected it. Rotating the four players forward to defense, defense to forward the scheme worked. Taking a 4-3 lead into the final session that's when the Dragons would be there best. Out scoring their first place opponents 5-0 in the third they rolled away with a 9-3 win. In the win S. Kelly would have a five goal night as Demitri Kotlyar would have a five point night with a trick and two assists. The Dragons are breathing fire again!

6/5 Week 8 Schedules posted.

6/4 All Team stats and League Leader pages updated. Updated schedule will be posted shortly.

6/4 A King of a Victory, Blanks Blast, Bergen Beach attack and BMW become the first to do so! Bergen Beach took advantage of a short Marine Park bench and went right to work. Posting three in the first, four in the second and another three in the final session they skated away with the win. Danny Balsamo and Richie Femiano both had five point nights in the win hitting mesh four times each and adding an assist. The Shooting Blanks and Sky Line were involved in a two goal game in the Blanks favor but the last five minutes of play would prove to be the difference as the Shooting Blanks would add four more. Joe Barker and John Ciazzia both had two goals each in victory. The Kings backed by the number one goalie in the league Giovanni Petre "The Bay Stallion" posted another shut out between the pipes and only has allowed one goal past his crease in his three games played. With a staggering 0.33 Goals against average "The Bay Stallion" leads all goalies in that department and shut outs as well. Speaking of shut outs their was never one in draft play until last night as BMW becomes the first team to accomplish the feat. Fill in goalie Mike Sora gets the job done for BMW in probably one of his last games in the Bay for a while due to his change of work schedule. Something to think about at work for Mr. first draft shut out in draft Mike Sora while Joe Jensen will be thinking of his five point night in the memorable game with his hat-trick and two assists while retaking the draft league lead in scoring. Updated schedules and full stats from this week of play will be coming later in the day.

6/3 Dragons bring the heat, Cool Runnings Crew run Strong in the third and the Shooting Blanks hold on! The Dragons would take advantage of a short Flids bench and be on the attack for most of the contest. Posting nine goals on the evening Steve Kelly would have a six goal night while over taking the league lead in scoring. Demitri Kotlyar would also have a six point night for the Dragons playing the set up man with four assists and two lamp lighters of his own. The Bay Brew and Cool Runnings Crew would trade five goals each heading into the final session but the final session would all be Cool as they would Run away with the game in the third. Out scoring the Brew 4-1 in the final fifteen they skated away with a 9-6 victory. In the Win CRC's Rich Conte had a big night in the Bay having something to do with eight of his teams nine goals with a trick and five assists. The Shooting Blanks would carry and 2-1 lead into the third and soon build a two goal lead with 6:30 to go in regulation. The Donkey Punchers would make it a one goal game at the 1:48 mark but the Blanks Pat Mulroy would bury his second of the night into an empty net with only thirty seven tics left to secure the win. The Donkey Punchers McGrath would have a two point night setting up two goals in the loss. Standings pages have been updated, all other pages will be updated shortly along with an updated schedule.

6/1 Hurricane Season Began today.... and, we had a Hurricane.

5/28 Thunder Storms in the Bay, no games played. All pages updated, Week 7 posted below.

5/27 Undefeated no more as the Dragons and Mad Men have an answer, Bay Brewery push to .500 and the Donkey Punchers penetrate! Alex Morozov would have a four point night with a trick and an assist as Greg Londis would tally twice in the 6-3 Bay Brewery win as the team move to 2-2 on the season. The Zorros and the Cool Runnings Crew were the only two undefeated teams up to this point in draft play but the Mad Men's B. Munday, G. Seriano and Cory Johnson would all have big games. Munday was good for a six point night with a hat-trick in goals and assists while Generio and Cory would both light the lamp twice each handing the Zorros their first loss of the season. The Dragons would do the same stopping the Cool Runnings Crew streak behind a Steve Kelly hat-trick and a pair from Dimitri Koylatar, the win also evens the Dragons at 2-2 on the season. The Donkey Punchers would jump out to a 2-0 lead after one but the Kings would cut the lead in half early in the second. But two back to back goals from James Esposito and an insurance goal in the third put this game away. Stat central coming your way, everything posted by this Friday. All Standings pages have been updated.

5/26 Blanks solid in OT, Marine Park get back in the W column, Astoria stay stingy as the Brooklyn Oilers hold their ground! Marine Park (B) would connect twice in each period of play with KC Krober leading the way with a Hat-trick as Steve Kelly would have a goal and three assists in the win. The Marine Park (A) squad wasn't as fortunate but did get a point out of the game. Trailing by two with under two minutes to play The Park were able to connect at the 1:41 mark and then again with only :20 left on some beautiful puck movement as a shot from the point would get deflected in to force the extra session. But all would get spoiled in the Over Time as Joe Barker made a beautiful deke on a three on one rush and put it home on his back hand for the win. Barker was also good for three assists in the 7- 6 battle. Astoria would get things moving in the second and rolling in the third while putting up six and getting scoring from five different skaters. Nick Carpanini tallied twice in the win as goalie G. Athanasiadis was good for the shut out. The game of the night was a beauty to watch as the BK Oilers and Sky Line would face off. Sky Line would jump out to a 3-1 lead after one period of play but the Brooklyn Oilers would storm back in period two putting up four and taking a one goal lead into the final session. The two teams would trade three goals each in the third as the Bklyn Oilers would take an 8-7 win and keep their undefeated season alive. The Oilers Michael Chindemi and 8 both had two goals each in the win. Division standings pages have been updated as all other pages will be updated shortly.

5/22 Week 6 schedules posted along with the rest of the season on schedules page.

5/21 Reapers stay on the attack, Kings on top again and the Zorros look like the team in the draft! The Reapers would build a 3-0 lead and carry a 4-2 lead into the third as the Park would make it a one goal game with 6:10 remaining. But just two minutes later the Reapers would get their two goal lead back on some nifty team work and later add an empty net goal to seal the deal. Newly recruited Reaper forward Andrew Manson would score two big goals as J. Flip would go end to end in the Reapers win. The W is a third straight for the team. Two M. McGreggor goals, a Mike Diccico tally and two Walter Gilroy assists all add up to a Kings win as this team looks BIG in the B. Kings and Reapers keep pace with each other as they both currently own three wins holding down the second and third seeds. The favorite on paper looks like the favorite in play as Jesse Hetzler's Zorros own a 3-0 record and a +13 in the goals for and against differential. In last night's game the Zorros would put up ten as every defensemen and forward on the team registered a point. Ryan Dooley would lead the way for the Zorros with a five point night with three goals and two assists. In the loss Dragons forwards Charles Sbrigato and Dimitri Koylatar hooked up for four times. Standings all updated stats being worked on, stay tuned in

5/20 Reapers Regroup, Good Fellas are good, Mad Men get a W and BMW bring it on! After a slow start to the season the Reapers put a string of back to back wins together as the guy Joe Jensen would have a big night in the Bay. Putting home four goals and adding an assist for a five point evening he had something to do with five of the seven Reaper tallies. Another team with a slow start was the Good Fellas as they shifted their game into high gear against the power house of the BIG B, Bergen Beach. After trailing two zip after one the Good Fellas were able to get those two goals back in the second off of Marino and Jimmy Justice's stick. A game tied at two and a score less third because of the play of both teams goalies Scott Adelle and Ralphie Bavaro an extra session was needed. In four on four action the Good Fellas Matt Diliberti would blaze a wrist shot top shelf and ended the scoreless tie getting the Fellas their first win of the season. The Mad Men would open a two goal lead right off the bat in the first inning just 3:10 into play then the Bay Brewery would tighten up their defense. On their heels most of the game the Bay Brewery were able to fight there way back into the game because of their goal keeps Steve Balsan's play making many big saves giving his fatigued squad a chance while showing off a new glove hand. The Brew were able to tie the game at two but then Cory Johnson would go end to end putting home his second of the night and his Mad Men up 3-2 after two. The Battle continued into the third with relentless back and forth action but no more goals would be scored and that's the way this one would end 3-2 in favor of those Mad Men. BMW would leave period one up 2-0 and the Flids would come out the second period with a four goal outburst to quickly go up 4-2. BMW would get a late second period goal back for a 4-3 game going into the final session and then they would have an outburst of their own in the third. Out scoring their opponents 5-1 in the final period BMW were able to skate away with an 8-5 win. Joe Jensen had a four goal night as Ilya Pololisky and Jae Budha both scored big goals in the third period of play. Division standings and game scores have been updated as team stats and league leader pages will be updated later in the day. Yes you know it!

5/18 Heavy rains all day leaves the rink wet with no players on hand and all games were canceled. Week 5 schedules adjusted please check it out.

5/16 Week 5 Schedules have been posted.

5/14 Reapers pull out a victory, Bergen Beach win big again, Kings give up nothing and in Draft play Cool Runnings hold on and stay perfect! The Reapers would see a threat of not seeing a win after three weeks of play as they trailed 5-4 with less then five minutes to play. But R. Dooley would roof a beautiful back hand to tie the game a five at the 4:03 mark and then he would connect again off a Joe Jensen feed for the go ahead goal with just 1:38 left and all that would add up to the Reapers in the win column. Bergen Beach struck from every direction as Bob Munday connected for a field goal and N. Manferdini had a safety as the high scoring offensive team put up eight. With the win Bergen Beach move to 4-0 on the season. The Kings would get scoring from five different skaters while goalie Gee Prete let up none for a donut as the Kings took a 6-0 win. In the win M. McGreggor had a two goal night as Lim, Gilroy, O'Sullivan and Diccico also lit the lamp. Cool Runnings Crew Rich Conte would have a five goal night and Jason Weston would connect twice and the Runnings put up eight and were able to hold off the Mad Men's last fury holding onto an 8-7 win. Mad Men captain Phil Rykla was good for two goals in the loss. Full BIG B Division stats will be updated later in the day as all other pages have been updated.

5/12 Games Canceled due to the Rain.

5/11 Games Canceled tonight due to rink work.

5/8 Week 4 Schedules posted.

5/7 All Draft team pages and league leader pages have been updated.

5/7 The Finals rematch, Marine Park and Bergen Beach Score and the Zorros have a draft party. Putting up a seven point night Steve Kelly had five goals and two assists while Rammy Abdelhamid was good for a trick and an assist. Team captain Liam Morris had a three assist evening as Marine Park even their record at 1-1 on the early season. Bergen Beach had another big night in the scoring department, last night it was Bobby Munday with a hat-trick and Nick Manferdini hitting the back of the net twice and adding an assist in the 8-4 victory. With the win Bergen Beach moves to 3-0 on the season. The game of the night was between last two seasons finalists, The Shooting Blanks and the Reapers. The Shooting Blanks would take a 3-2 lead into the third period but newly recruited Reaper Andrew Manson would tie the game at three with 5:03 remaining and that's how regulation would eventually end. Both teams would get their chances in the extra session in four on four hockey but a late power play for the Blanks would be the difference as team captain Pat Mulroy would redirect a Cory Johnson shot past the goal crease for the 4-3 win with only :41 remaining in the extra session. The Zorros would score the first six goals of the game but the Flids would fight back to soon make it a two goal game. Zorros would prove to be too much the rest of the way putting up four more goals to the Flids one in the 10-5 win. Pat Mulroy was good for a hat-trick while "The infamous" Jesse Hetzler, Ryan Dooley and James Esposito all had two goals each in the win for the Zorros. All team pages and League Leader stats will be updated over the weekend along with the Week 4 schedule as all other statistical pages have been updated.

5/6 Bergen Beach have a Squad, Cool Runnings move to 2-0, Bay Brewery get a W and the Dragons pull off some dramatics! Bergen Beach forwards Bobby Munday and Danny Balsamo would both hit mesh twice while the team would put together a seven goal assault on their way to a 2 and 0 start to the season. The rest of the night would be draft play and the Bay Brewery would even their record at 1-1 behind two, two goal night's each from both Alex Morozov and Andrew Manson. The Bay Brewery took a 4-0 lead into the final session but Jae "Buddha" Sanabria would break the shutout early in the third and ruin the chance of the feat never achieved in draft play, a shut out. Bang your stick for Bay Brewery goalie Steve Balsan for coming close. The defense heavy Cool Runnings Crew would jump out to a 3-0 lead after one on two Nick Mazzola goals and a AJ Bezner tally but that would be all of their scoring on the night. Mike Goucher would get one back in the second and another goal late in the third with 2:10 remaining as the Cool Runnings Crew would hold on the rest of the way and take a 3-2 victory. This game should be highlighted by the play between the pipes of both teams goaltenders. Mike Sora of Cool Runnings and Vic Leoung of the Flids, both goalies made many big saves keeping this game as low scoring as it was in draft play with a total of only five goals scored. For example the game before saw a total of eighteen scored. The Dragons would find themselves trailing by six goals in the second period of play at 6-0 then the sleeping Dragons awoke and Steve Kelly would welcome himself to the Draft League. The Dragons would put together a four goal second period and only trail 7-4 by periods end. The final session would be all Dragons out scoring their opponents 6-1 and stealing a 10-8 victory. Steve Kelly would have a seven point night in the win with five goals and two assists. All pages updated expect for team pages and league leader pages in Draft and BIG B divisions which will be updated shortly. Yes folks yet another great night of Hockey in the Bay!

5/5 BKLYN Oilers take sole possession of first, Astoria came to play and Sky Line get a win! Sky Line would take a 1-0 lead into the final session and Rammy Abdelhamid would extend the lead by two early in the third. The Blanks would break on through the Gus Katheis wall with only five minutes to play to make it a one goal game but Bobby Kasimis would ruin any chance of a come back hitting mesh for a 3-1 lead and that's the way this one would end in Sky Line's favor. Astoria Knights forwards Rob Alibrandi and 91 both put up hat-tricks each as Knights goalie G. Athanasiadis was there when he had to be and his performance was good enough for the shut out as Astoria put their game in high gear. The Brooklyn Oilers are three for three! Last night they battled against the BIG B division champs in inter-league play and were 1-1 after one but then the Oilers would turn things up in the second. Scoring four unanswered goals in the middle period the Oilers would finish off the game with a 7-4 winner. Michael Chindemi was good again, in last night's play he buried a trick and dished off two. His five point night puts him in the league lead for the A Elite Scoring title. All A Elite pages have been updated, including the league leaders page.

4/30 Week 3 Schedules Posted! 4/30 A Wild Finish ends in the Blanks favor, Bergen Beach pull away in the third, Kings pull off two tricks and in draft play BMW get even. Marine Park would take a 2-0 lead into the third but fatigue would start to set in. Blanks would get within one at 12:53, tie the game with 7:58 and get the go ahead goal with 4:01 remaining. The Park would tie the game with just 2:05 left but the Blanks would regain the lead twenty six tics later and add another taking a 5-3 win. Cory Johnson lit the lamp twice for the Blanks while KC Krober had all three Marine Park tallies. Bergen Beach would take a 2-1 lead into the third and add two more on two Nick Merfindini goals as they skated away with a 4-1 W. Kings new gun M. McGregor was good for a hat trick as so was team captain Mike Diccico as the two tricks added up to a 6-3 winner. BMW even their record at 1-1 with an impressive outing. Number one draft pick over all Joe Jensen would have a six point night with four goals and two assists. Add his four points from last nights play and that adds up to a ten point start to the season and an early lead in the scoring race. BMW's Jae "Buddha" Sanabria was also good last night putting up a hat-trick and adding an assist in the BMW 7-3 win. WEEK 3 Schedules have been posted below. Backed up on all team stats and league leaders all that good stuff will be updated after the weekend, all other pages have been updated.

4/29 Zorros strike first, Cool Running's hold on, A Franchise hangover and the Return of the Donkey! The Zorros would set off Draft league play and their team captain Jesse Hetzler would tally his team's first goal of the season. James Esposito and Matt DelleCamelie would hit mesh twice after that for the Z-Men and they would take a 5-3 win in their opener. Bobby Munday would post a hat-trick in the loss for the Mad Men. The Flids would explode in period two hitting the back of the net six times and take a 7-0 lead into the final session. The Bay Brewery would finally get on the board in the third but the Flids would skate away with a 8-3 win. Flids captain J. Flip might of pulled off the sleeper of the draft as his late round pick M. Carlton impressed putting home two in his debut in the Bay. Mike Goucher was also good having a six point night with three goals and three assists. Sammy Ponitillo's new franchise Cool Running's Crew would jump out to a 5-1 lead but BMW would start to chip away as the game hit the midway point. Scoring the next three goals, the fist two by period two's end and the first of the third it was a one goal game just like that. The two teams would trade two goals each the rest of the way and Cool Runnings would hold onto a 7-6 win. The Donkey Punchers return to the Bay and from the 8:01 mark of the first would connect with three quick goals in a span of just two minutes and forty seven seconds. The Good Fellas would settle in from there and battle back to make it a 3-2 game but Donkey Punchers goalie Rob Molina would make many key saves on the night as this one would end 3-2 Donkey's. All pages will be worked on and updated shortly as it was a busy week in the Bay.

4/28 Oilers and Marine Park jump out the gate at 2-0 as the Shooting Blanks earn a W! A delay of game penalty to start the game off lead to a 1-0 Bklyn Oilers lead as they would eventually build a 3-1 lead and carry it into the third. Astoria would win period three 2-1 but lose the contest 4 to 3. The Oilers Michael Chindemi was good for a four point night in the win having something to do with all his teams goals with a goal and three assists as he hooked up Vasquez twice. Marine Park would trail 3-2 going into period three, tie the game early in the third only to go down by two soon after. But Marine Park would surge in the last final eight minutes of play scoring four unanswered goals taking a 7-5 win. Morozov, Krober and Kelly all connected twice in the win for the Park. The Shooting Blanks would get a goal in the first but would open things up in the second and third scoring five more times. Team captain Pat Mulroy was good for a hat-trick as Pontillo, Cizzia and Johnson also got in on the scoring. Blanks goalie Anthony Manno posted a donut. All A Elite Division Pages have been updated.

Marine Park's wheels were turning as Alex Morozov would hit mesh four times and KC Krober was good for three as the Park would roll to victory with the duo's stellar performance. Fresh off their Winter Cup II victory the Brooklyn Oilers went back to work putting up three in the first, two in the second and a goal in the third adding up to a 6-3 win. 4/10 DRAFT NIGHT is set for this Wed, April 14th., Please confirm if your in for the new draft! Championship video photos added below and on the video page.

4/9 Shooting Down Championships and drinks on the house as the Bay Brewery lift the prize! In yet another night that will be remembered in Bay history the Finals games in both divisions lived up to their expectations! The Shooting Blanks would take down Championship number two in the Bay with a 2-1 win over the defending champs that was a game of inches till the last second of play. The Blanks would open up the scoring in the first when Rich Conte would sneak a goal in off a Pat Mulroy feed. That would be the only goal seen the rest of the first and we wouldn't see another goal till :27 left in the middle period when Joe Jensen would capitalize off a Blanks turnover in their own zone and roof home a beautiful back hand that knotted the game at one going into the final session. The rest of the game was a struggle as both Pat Black and Anthony Manno made many big saves to keep the game knotted at one and the way this game was going it would either be a mistake or a perfect play that would end the meeting. The efforts displayed by these two teams last night I was glad to see the next goal scored on a perfect play. The call went down like this in the Bay, Joe Barker picks up a loose puck in the corner blazes a thread through traffic in front of the goal mouth that finds a wide open John Cizzia that he slams home SCORE! The clock reads 3:38 and the Shooting Blanks would be able to hold off the Reapers push for the equalizer and take down a well deserved and hard fought title in the Bay! Tip your helmets with cages and half visors to the Reapers who would only be beat by a team who would have to play a perfect series to be the new heavy weights in the Bay! Congrats to Pat Mulroy and his crew on the victory. Next up the Bay who? The Bay Brew! The Bay Brewery win their first title in the Bay in another nail bitter of a game that won't be forgotten. Was Cory Johnson the difference? The star defenseman who was apart of both championship teams this season would get the Bay Brewery on the board first for an early 1-0 lead. His partner in crime in the BIG B but friendly foe in the Draft, Pat Mulroy would tie the game at one soon after. Alex Morozov who was a beast the whole series scoring a total of eight goals in two games would break the tie for a 2-1 lead and then would connect again with only :35 left in the second for a 3-1 Bay Brewery lead going into the final session. Mulroy would put home his second of the night on a beautiful deflection goal to get his very Mad Men back within one with over an hour left on the clock in draft but 8:30 in reality. The team the rest of way and every player on this eight man team must be mentioned cause it was a team that took home the draft title holding off the strong and balanced Mad Men team in the 3-2 victory. The unsung heroes or not so unsung Vic Leong many big saves in the series, Brandon Barbuto assisting on the game winner, Squiggy the Squigster making many big plays on defense and offense, Dom Rubino all he does is win Cups as he took down his third draft title in four tries, Tom Urchandano the gritty defensemen of the Brew keeping the puck out of our end. The Captain is proud of his team, way to go Bay Brewery! Lift and Clap the celebration was stellar! All pages have been updated, including the playoff tree.

Finally! After playing in numerous cups together A. Morozov and J. Borruso finally put one up in the win column. The duo hooked up for a big goal in the final game. This one will last a life time!

4/7 The Shooting Blanks and Bay Brewery both strike first Blood! In the highly anticipated long over waited match between the two Bay Heavy Weights the Blanks Rich Conte would get his Shooting Blanks on the board first six minutes into play. Joe Barker would make it a 2-0 game donning his new number 91 and taking his two goal lead into the second. The Reapers would cut the lead in half five and a half minutes into the second only to see Rich Conte put home his second of the night a minute later for a 3-1 lead. The goal trade was on! Joe Jensen would make it 3-2, Mulroy would make it 4-2, Mike Goucher would make it 4-3 early in the third to see Mulroy come right back for his second mesh hitter going back up by two for a 5-3 lead then Sam Pontillio of the Blanks would put the game away for good with the slapper with 2:38 left adding up to a 6-3 Shooting Blanks win. The Reapers, defending what they currently own is now on the line. With their backs against the wall they'll have to come out strong against a hungry Blanks team who's trying to get their name on Lord Kings Bay for a second time. Game two kicks off tonight in the Bay at 9:00 as the Shooting Blanks will try to close it out and the Reapers will try to force a game three. The Bay Brewery and the Mad Men would be involved in a wild one trading two goals each in each of the first two periods for a 4-4 battle going into the third. The Bay Brewery came out in the third period with their skates in cement as the Mad Men quickly built a six four lead with only eight minutes to play. The Brewery quickly called a time out to stop the bleeding and at the 5:37 mark of the final session the Russian Rocket would put home his forth of the night and make it a one goal game. Exactly thirty seven seconds later the draft leagues scoring champion would tie the game at six for his fifth on the evening. With time winding down an it look liked an extra session would be needed the Bay Brewery would crash the net and Morozov would tally a double hat-trick with :50 left and a 7-6 Brewery lead. The Mad Men fought to the finish as Vic Leoung would make the save of the night getting a toe on a furious Pat Mulroy drive to hold onto the lead as the Brewery skated away with the victory and a 1-0 lead in the series. Great Game Period! The Cup will be in attendance tonight! Will it be lifted or will the lift be prolonged. All remains to been seen as the battle for the Bay continues just a few short hours away. All pages have been updated, including the playoff tree.

4/6 Spring Season Update.

4/5 Winter Cup II Photos added below in movie format.

4/3 It's an all Brooklyn Thing in the Bay! The Brooklyn Oilers take down Winter Cup II! After losing their first game of the tournament in overtime the Brooklyn Oilers haven't lost since. Putting together a string of six straight victories, the Winter Cup II title is theirs and will be etched on the Kings Bay Cup. In today's opener Brooklyn took a two nothing lead into the final session on two Sean McAllister goals and then they would win the final session 2-1 adding up to a 4-1 win. The win put them into the Finals against Morris Park Devils although with one loss for the Brooklyn Oilers the title would go to Morris Park. The Oilers would still need two more wins as Morris Park Devils were undefeated up to this point. Feeding off their pervious win the Brooklyn Oilers went right back to work. Connecting six times in the first they added two more goals in the final session took the win and set up the final game of the tournament. Winner take all! Morris Park would turn their level of play up in the final game of the Second Winter Cup as they would put many pucks at Oilers goalie Greg Post. However Post was on his game all day making many big saves while only giving up a total of three total goals in the three games played. With the Oilers putting home goals at 12:10 and again at 3:13 Morris Park would break on through the Post wall at :51 of the first cutting the Oilers lead in half heading into the final session. Number 42 of the Brooklyn Oilers would give his team a two goal lead back only to see Morris Park get back within one again with 8:46 to play. A one goal game with time winding down and then 42 of the Oilers would strike again and put the game away for good as this one would end in a 4-2 favor of the Brooklyn Oilers. The Winter Cup II Champions are the Brooklyn Oilers! Hat's off to all teams who participated in the tournament and making it a big success as we look forward to hosting Winter Cup III in late October. Final Team stats have be updated along with League Leaders Winter Cup II Tournament Standings Page.

4/2 The Shooting Blanks charge their way into the finals! The Finals everyone wanted to see is about to happen. The one and two seeded heavy weights are about to collide. In last nights play the Blanks wasted no time getting on the board scoring on their first drive of the game for a 1-0 lead just :19 in. The lead would stay the same the rest of the first and carry into the second. But period two would change the face of the game as the Blanks would build a two goal lead at the 12:17 mark and then with time winding down connect at 1:37 and then again the back breaker at 1:09. The two goal lead added up to a 4-0 lead heading into the final session. The two teams would trade goals in the third and that would add up to another Blanks finals appearance. The Shooting Blanks goal scoring was lead by two from team captain Pat Mulroy with Ciazzia, Conte and Barker also contributing to the offense. Goalie Anthony Manno was on his game last night making many big saves as his shut out bid would hold up to thirty one seconds left in the game. The Reapers and Blanks in the best of there series is next. The two teams split the season series one game a piece and will be a good one to watch as both teams are well rounded. In the first game of the season the two teams met and the Shooting Blanks built a 4-0 lead only to see the Reapers score five unanswered goals and take a 5-4 win. In the second match up the Reapers were trying to make history in the Bay with nineteen straight wins but it was the Blanks who would put it to an end to the stunning eighteen straight victories with a 4-3 win. Two games played against each other two one goal games, the Kings Bay Finals kick off next week! All pages will be updated shortly including playoff stats, playoff tree and some new polls.

4/1 The Bay Brewery will drink to that as so will the Mad Men! The Reapers will play for the Kings Bay Cup again! After losing only one game all season (11-1), The Mighty Reapers are going to play for lord Kings Bay Cup once again. The defending champs will await the winner of the Shooting Blanks Kings game tonight to see who they will face in the Final meeting of the season. In last nights play the Reapers R. Dooley would pick up where he left off in his last playoff outing, this game he would put up four credits while leading all playoff goal scorers with 10 points. It wasn't only Dooley getting in on the action as the Reapers got scoring from six different players in the win. The Reapers are in the finals again. Can they repeat? After winning two division titles in the Bay the Bay Brewery finally get their first playoff win. It would be a big win as it got them a ticket into the Draft league finals. The Bay Brewery had to get the job done with out their number one pick as Cory Johnson would put home back to back goals in the first for a 2-0 lead. Nicky Mazzola would have an answer with two of his own for the Dragons to knot the game at two. But Dom Rubino would get the Brew back on top for good putting by cannon then add an assist on the next one. Out scoring their opponents 2-1 in each period the Brew move on! They set up a meeting with the Mad Men that needed an extra session to get into the finals. It would be the game of the night. Mad Men came out determined jumping out to a two goal lead after one on goals from Mulroy and Dellecallme, you know "F". Danny Chringo would make it a three goal lead early in the second, but there it was that three goal lead in hockey, never safe. Mikey Byrnes would make it a two goal game getting the Flids on the board, then team capo J. Flip would get the Flids within a goal early in the third. Mulroy would give his team a two goal lead back with just under 10 minutes to go but Mikey Byrnes would tally again down the stretch at 11:45 to make for a 4-3 game. With time winding down the Mad Men would take a chance and pay. Going on a 3 on 0 break Balsan would make the stop and the puck would get thrown up the rink to see another 3 on 0 the other way. And when Mike Gouch would get the puck it looked like the red sea parted as his wingers let him go and just like that the game was tied at four. An extra session was needed. With both goalies in the game the previous two cup winners, both goalies played up to par. Adelle looked like he was going to pull all his hair out of his head after his team gave up a 3 on 0 break with a goal lead and under two minutes to play but he moved on and made the first big stop in overtime. Then the puck went to the Flids side of the rink and Danny Chringo would throw a puck towards the goal that would find it's way in and send these Mad Men into the finals.

3/29 Week 15 Schedules readjusted and Tournament Schedule Posted. (Open Hockey Thursday Night 7:30-10:00) 3/28 Week 15 Schedules posted

3/26 The Six Seed Knocks off the Three, Kings are destined to meet the Blanks and the Dragons hold off the Zorros push! Brooklyn's Finest were fine in the Bay last night as the Laws of Flatbush put in an all out team effort to stop the high scoring Unit. The game was a good one that ended 6-5 with L.O.F's Gale brothers posting two goals each as so did Weiner in the contest. The Kings are built for playoff hockey as the gritty team got the job done. After trailing 1-0 early on the Kings would score seven unanswered goals to bang out the win. Walter Gilroy lead the Kings with a hat-trick as McGrath, Diccico, Lim and Murray also lit the lamp. The Dragons looked like they were in control taking a 4-1 lead into the final session and making it 5-1 just :45 into that third period. But then the Zorros would turn up the level of play a notch to get back into the game. Scoring goals at 12:09 (A. Hetzler), 9:59 (J. Hetzler) and 7:02 (A. Manson) to make it a one goal game. But Dragons would clamp down on a solid defensive effort the rest of the way to hold off the Zorros as Dragon Captain Charlie Sbrigato would end the chances of a come back with a nice low wrist shot to up the lead and set a date for his team in the semi finals. The Semi Final rounds of hockey are now set! The Final Four in each division, The Reapers and Laws of Flatbush, Shooting Blanks vs the Kings in the BIG B. And in draft the Bay Brewery will meet the Dragons while the Flids are set to face-off with the Mad Men. All pages have been updated except playoff scoring as schedules will be posted shortly.

3/25 It's Business as usual for the Reapers and Blanks as they move onto the semifinals and in draft play the Flids hold off BMW, move onto the next round. Shooting Blanks would get a short handed goal, a power play goal and a even strength goal in the first to leave their opponents in disarray after one then add another three in the second adding up to a six nothing winner. The Blanks J. Ciazza netted three for the trick in the win while goalie Anthony Manno was good when he had to be to post the shut out. Reapers stormed out the gate with four goals after one and added another four in the second totaling to a 8-1 winner. The Reapers Ryan Dooley was on his game hitting mesh four times while dishing off two for a six point night. The Flids had Mike Diccico back in the line up after being out with a undisclosed non related hockey injury that GM J. Flip didn't talk about much. Not 100% Diccico posted a goal and an assist as so did Mike Goucher and Mikey Byrnes in a 4-2 battle. BMW made it interesting at the end with two back to back power plays but goalie Steve Balsan came up big several times as he did through out the game solidifying the W. Playoff hockey continues tonight in the Bay, seasons are on the line.

3/20 Morris Park Devils move onto the Winter Cup II Finals and it's Astoria Knights and the Brooklyn Oilers in a Semifinal match-up! We started with ten and now where down to three. With Beautiful weather in the bay today two Brooklyn teams Oilers and Bombers kicked things off in an elimination game. The Bombers would take a 2-0 lead into the second but the Oilers would explode for five unanswered goals in the final session and move onto the next round. The Battle of the undefeated's was up next and it was a good one. Morris Park Devils would take a 1-0 lead into the second and add two more in the third for a 3-0 victory. Morris Park's sniper Stephen Mele had another big day having something to do with all his teams points with two goals and an assist. Morris Park Devils goalie Chris Temperini was a wall in the contest stopping many big shots posting the shut out. With the win Morris Park is the only undefeated team left and move onto the Final round of play. The Brooklyn Oilers would pick up where they left off in the their first match and put up nine moving onto the semifinal match. The Brooklyn Oilers look very deep as they received goal scoring from nine different skaters in their two games played on the day. Marine Park and the BK Bullets were involved in a good one! Marine Park would jump out to a 2-0 lead but the Bullets would get one back at the end of the first on an Richie Femiano power play goal for a 2-1 game going into the final period. With Marine Park clinging to the one goal lead and the Bullets pressing they were able to get the equalizer with only 2:14 remaining in the game and push this game into overtime. G. Konstantin would ruin the come back as he would bag the game winner in OT and move Marine Park into the next round. Astoria Knights would jump out to a 3-0 lead on three straight Rob Alibrandi goals but the Shooting Blanks would soon make it a two goal game as period one would come to a close. The Shooting Blanks Mike Goucher would strike on his second of the day with just under four minutes to play in regulation to make for a one goal game. Astoria Knights were able to hold off the Shooting Blanks last push for the equalizer and move onto the final elimination match game of the day against Marine Park. Astoria would do the same as they did in their pervious match and jump on to a 3-0 lead on Marine Park. Marine Park would soon make it a two goal game only to see Astoria Knights get their three goal lead back shortly after. With Astoria up by three Marine Park would get the next two goals to make it a one goal game. The Knights would score the next goal but Marine Park would make it a one goal game again on S. Kasimis forth goal of the game. Astoria Knights 5 Marine Park 4 with under a minute to play. Marine Park would pull their goalie for the extra attacker and the press was on. A swarm of shots from all angles would go towards the goal and a puck would land on the stick of G. Konstantin that he would push past the goal crease for a 5-5 game. Marine Park felt good going into overtime session but that would come to an end quick as a 2 on 1 break towards the Marine Park's goal and B. Kasimis would pull the puck back let it ride, sail it home and end the day of hockey at the Bay putting the Astoria Knights into the semifinal match up. Astoria Knights vs Brooklyn Oilers for the right to play Morris Park Devils. Knights and Oilers played in week one as an extra session was needed to settle the score going in the Knights favor. See this article here in paragraph form. Winter Cup II Team pages will be updated shortly. BIG B AND DRAFT schedules have been posted.

3/13 WINTER CUP II Games Canceled for today due to Rain. We'll reschedule games for next Saturday.

3/12 All Final team and League Leaders statistics pages have all been updated as well as all other pages. Playoff schedules will be posted shortly.

3/12 Bay Brewery and the Reapers both take home division titles on the last day of regular season play!! Not only were division titles on the line last night in the Bay, so were the scoring titles in both divisions. In a playoff type atmosphere game between the Bay Brewery and the Flids, the winner would take the number one seed and the loser possibly dropping down to third. 0-0 after one. T. Urchando would put the Brewery on the board in the second as they would add another and take a 2-0 lead into the third. J. Filippelli would make it a one goal game in the third but the Bay Brewery would storm right back to regain the two goal lead. The teams would trade goals down the stretch and it was enough for the Bay Brewery to take home the number one seed in Draft League Play. The Bay Brewery's Vic Leoueg put up his second all-star outing as so did Flids goalie Steve Balsan. Vic Leoung stellar profoarmance earns him number one goalie honors with lowest Goals Against average. As for the scoring title Alex Morozov lead Mike Goucher by three points going into last nights game and the two would both finish with two points each in the game as Morozov AKA the Russian Rocket would seal the Draft league scoring title with a 43 point season. The Rocket's 43 point season adds up to the second highest in Draft League play behind the one and only Joe Jensen with the record at 48. While this is the first time Joe didn't win a Draft league scoring title he made up for it in the BIG B. Going into last night's play tied for the scoring title with Pat Mulroy, Jensen took home the scoring title by putting home the first Reapers goal of the game and adding three more for a 31 point season. The Reapers steam roll into the playoffs capturing their second straight title with a 7-0 win as goalie Pat Black notched his forth shutout of the season. The Unit took a big 4-2 win over the Phantoms as this is the second good game these two teams were involved in. B. Kasimis put the game away on his third of the night finishing off his hat-trick that held up to be the game winner. Defenseman K. Rothchild AKA Slim filled in for the Phantoms goalie and held the high powered Unit offense to only four goals. Making many big saves on the night he showed off his glove in the battle. As the Unit would take the win it would lock down the third seed in the division. That will earn them a match up against the Laws of Flatbush next week in playoff hockey. In the last draft game of the night it would need a shoot out to settle it. With a four four game ending regulation the shoot out would see four rounds. As BMW's Pete Epolito would have two goals in regulation his biggest goal on the evening would come in the shoot-out tied at two and he would soon end the game with a tally for the winner

3/11 Mad Men take two, Bay Brewery Shoot it Out and BMW upset the Flids! Big draft night in the Bay with team seeding's moving all over the place. As the Flids were the top seed all season long with a loss to the BMW they moved down to third place. However, they still control their own destiny as a win in their final game will capture the regular season title. Enter the game for the division. Bay Brewery vs The Flids. If Bay Brewery win they take the number one seed, with a Bay Brewery loss in regulation they will move down to the third seed. An overtime loss will lock them down into second place. This all happened because of a BMW win over the Flids in the opening game of the night. Partners in the BIG B but friendly foes in the draft Jensen and Goucher both put up four goals and an assist on the evening. BMW's eight goal of the night by Jason Weston held up to be the game winner in the 9-7 wild victory. The Bay Brewery would jump out to a 4-1 lead but would quickly squander the lead as the Dragons would fight to tie the game at four. The Brew Crew would regain the lead only to see the Dragons tie the game again as regulation would soon end. Straight to the shoot out in draft play Cory Johnson would nail the only goal for the Brewery but that's all they would need to do as their goalie Vic Leoung was on his game. Stopping all three Dragon shooters he moved his team into a tie for first. After a slow start this season the Mad Men finish off strong. Going 5-0-1 in their last six games they set themselves up for a possible bye in the first round of the playoffs. The team is stacked with scoring as they put up seventeen goals for in the double header they played last night. Also getting strong play between the pipes of their goal keep Scotty Adelle as of late has helped put this team on a run. In last night's play it was all about "F" for fire power Matt Delecalamie putting up a five point game in their second match with four goals and an assist wiping out a three goal deficit. Mad Men look hungry and look like the hot team going into the playoffs next week. Draft standings have been updated as team stats will be updated soon.

3/7 Morris Park and the Aeros are in the Drivers seat, Marine Park, Shooting Blanks, Astoria Knights, Bombers, BK Bullets and Oilers move on. A great full day of Hockey in the Bay! Things kicked off between Morris Park Devils and the Astoria Lighting. Morris Park would score a second period power play goal off Stephen Mele stick and edge the lightning 3-2. Morris Park would move to 2-0 on the day with a win over the Green Machine on another big game from Mele putting up four of his teams six goals totaling five points in both winners. Astoria Knights were facing elimination in their second match that would see over time but R. Alibrandi would only need 29 tics of the extra session to get his team into the next round. The Knights Mike McGreggor also had a big day with five points with four goals and an assist. Trailing 5-1 with less than six minutes to go the Aeros were able to score with 5:34, again at 4:05, again at 2:00 and with their goalie pulled they tied the game with only four seconds left to send this game into OT. A crazy finish! After a scoreless extra session a shoot out was needed. Enter Scott Adelle. After making many big saves in regulation and OT he would be perfect in the shoot out stopping both Marine Park shooters and snatch this game from Marine Park. Marine Park won their earlier game four zip but will be facing elimination in their next match because they couldn't close this one out. Aeros would do it again in their next match with another come from behind win against the BK Bullets. That game would also see an extra session. Trailing 3-1 with under eight minutes to go Jon Musco would rip a shot towards the goal that would deflect off of Billy Buckman's body to get his team within a goal. Just under a minute later Steve Noto would rip a wrist shot into mesh to knot the game a three. Regulation would end and as Phil Townsend of the Aeros would get the game winner in the shoot out in his pervious game he would do it again in this game putting the biscuit in the basket with a 4-3 OT win. With the Aeros win they and Morris Park are the only two undefeated teams on the day. Aeros and Morris Park will go head to head in their first game next week. With the Shooting Blanks facing elimination after a loss to Marine Park they were able to come up big against the Bombers. Up 3-0 the Bombers would make it a one goal game but the Blanks would pull away on an R. Conte breakaway goal and a Sammy Pontillo empty netter moving themselves into next week. With the Bombers facing elimination in their next match they were able to come up big. Mike Profeta would light the lamp twice and Ralphie Bavaro would shut the door securing the shutout for a 3-0 Bombers win. The last game of the night would be an elimination game between the Jaws and the BK Bullets as both teams were 0-1 heading into the match. After a 1-1 first the Bullets would turn it up in the final session. With D. Chringo sinking his second of the night Charles Sbragato would nail home two as it would add up to a 5-1 win and get the Bullets into next weekend. Once again a great day of Hockey in the Bay! Three of the first four games next week will be elimination games. We started with 10 were down to 8, Winter Cup II continues next Saturday in the Bay, week two schedules will be posted shortly.

3/6 All Tournament Rosters have been posted. If you need to add any players to your roster you have to do so before today's games.

3/5 Week 13 has been posted. Draft teams are playing two games next week and the BIG B final two games will put both divisions into the playoffs the following week.

3/5 Shooting Blanks hold first for now, Reapers keep pace, The Unit gain ground and the Kings finish with a bang. The BIG B playoff picture is almost set. With two total games left to play between Marine Park and the Reapers and The Phantoms and The Unit If the Unit and Reapers win they move up in the standings. With a Reapers win they will win the division by one point over the Shooting Blanks. If the Unit take a win they move up to the third seed. If both teams happen to take a loss the standings would stay the same. In last night's play The Unit's G. Konstantin put up three for a trick and S. Leoutsakus added a goal for a 4-1 win. Shooting Blanks shoot into the playoffs on a high note putting up seven. Pat Mulroy would have a four point night with two goals and two assists. His four point night still keeps him in a tie for first for the scoring title with Joe Jensen of the Reapers as he also had a four point night with a trick and an assist. Both players are tied with 27 points but J. Jensen still has a game to play and would just need a point to pass Mulroy. In the Reapers game goalie P. Black continues to be on his game, putting up his third shutout of the season it adds up to being second best in that department all time. His goals against average is 1.78 which will win him top goalie honors for the season. Kings go into the playoffs on a winning note as their seeding is not determined as of yet. Depending on the out come of the Unit Phantoms game they will hold the third or forth seed. In last nights game Dan O'Sullivan and Rich McGrath would both put up a hat-trick each as the Kings took an 8-2 win.

3/3 Winter Cup II Tournament schedule posted.

His seven point night regains himself the scoring lead in draft play with a total of 37 points on the season. The Bay Brewery's defenseman Dominick Rubino would also have a big game with a goal and five assists. With the win the Bay Brewery now only trail the first place Flids by a point in the standings who took a loss to the Mad Men. M. Dellecamelie, D. Chringo and Julian would all tally two times each as the Mad Men improved their record to 4-3-1 on the season as these guys look good. A four goal out burst in this game put them over the top. The Zorros would put eight goals on the night as their number one pick would have six of them. Enter Andrew Manson, putting up goals 15 to 20 on the season which is good for a tie in the leagues third best in goals scored. 2/5 The Streak ends in a Blank of an eye, two Queens goalies battle in the Bay, Gravesend take a split and The Phantoms win! Yes the Phantoms win! The Shooting Blanks stop the Reapers streak at eighteen straight consecutive wins, one game shy of the second place record. The Blanks opened the game up with two quick goals in the first five minutes of play and would add another to take a 3-0 lead into the second. The two teams would spit goals in period two and the Blanks would hold that three goal lead going into the third. The defending champs and winners of eighteen straight wouldn't go down with out a fight. J. Flip would make it a two goal game with ten minutes remaining then M. Goucher would strike on a beautiful feed from J. Jensen to make it 4-3 game at the 2:01 mark of the final session. It was Blanks goalie A. Manno the rest of the way holding down the fort making two big stops and securing the win and ending the streak. Bang your stick for the Reapers who put up the third best streak of all time in the Bay and are still the defending champs. In another great game the Unit and the Kings would mix it up. Goalies G. Petre and D. McAdams would put up stellar performances between the pipes. The game would only see one goal apiece going into the third until the Unit's S. Kasimis would go five hole coming in off the right post and give his team a lead. More big saves from both goalies the rest of the way till W. Gilroy of the Kings would bang one home and even the score. With the game in the extra session Gilroy would strike again with 1:37 left to play and give the Kings the win. Gravesend and L.O.F. would spilt their home and home series as Gravesends Anderw Manson would complete a Hat-trick and Danny Crichigno's goal would hold up to be the game winner in a 4-3 battle. The Phantoms would get their first W of season on big goals off R. Muzzuchin and K. Rothchild sticks as Muzzuchin would also add two assists. Another game that was a back and forth battle and saw a five goal outburst in the final session for the Phantoms as the empty netter ended the wild third in the 7-5 Phantoms win. Great night in the Bay with every game a good one! On a sour note A. Hetzler and J. Clingo of the Reapers get a game each suspension for abuse of officiating. All other pages are being worked on now and will be updated shortly.

2/4 Flids stay hungry, Mad Men got power in their play, Zorros run away in the third and in the BIG B Flatbush lays the law! The Mad Men took a one goal lead into period two and were able to connect twice on two connective power plays in the second. Taking a 4-1 lead into the third they were able to leave with a 5-3 winner and move their record to 3-3-1 on the season. Mad Men would receive scoring from five different players in the win. Is this team deep? Zorros one two punch Manson and Esposito would tally for a hat-trick each adding up to a seven two win helping their team get another two points in the tight Draft race. It's the Flids again, this time they put up twelve and improve their record to six and one on the season and hold a three point lead for first in the division. Mikey Byrnes had a huge six point night scoring four goals and two assists while M. Goucher had a five point night and takes over sole possession of the scoring race. Flids star defenseman K. Rothchild AKA "Slim" also put in his work breaking up plays while adding a goal and an assist on the evening. L.O.F Gale Brothers would hook up for a goal! James Gale would have a four point night with a goal and three assists while his bro D. Gale was good for two tallies. Laws of Flatbush even their record and are now in a three way tie for thrid place in the BIG B. Team stats and League leader pages will be updated soon as standings pages have already been updated.

2/2 Winter Cup II Tournament Coming soon! Information here.

1/29 Reapers hit eighteen, Blanks edge the Unit, Gravesend climb and the Kings roll. R. Conte powers the Blanks with a four goal night powering the team to a 5-4 Shooting win. Another great one goal game between the two teams. The two teams split the season series one game apiece as the last time they played, the game would need an extra session. With the win the Shooting Blanks keep pace with the Reapers only trailing them by one point in the standings. Eighteen and counting for the big bad defending champion Reapers now only one game away from tieing Bergen Beach's record of nineteen. In last night's game Paul Lind had a three point night with two goals and an assist and Reapers goalie P. Black was on his game stopping everything in his direction which was good enough for his second shut-out of the season while leading the league with the lowest Goals Agaisnt Average. Kings W. Gilroy would have have a three goal night with Dan O'Sullivan having a two point game with a goal and an assist on the way to a 5-2 Kings win. Kings move into the forth seed with the victory. Gravesends C. Sbrigato and M. Diliberti both hit mesh three times each for tricks while goalie Vic Leoung would make some huge saves secring his second shut-out victory of the season. The divisonal race tightens up in the BIG B. With Reapers and Blanks leading the way seeds three through seven are only seperated by three points. All pages have been updated and schedules for the rest of the way have been posted.

1/28 Flids stay on top of the Draft, Bay Brewery impress, Dragons win a wild one and in our lone BIG B game Laws of Flatbush hit .500. Two big nights from Bay Brewery's first round pick and the Flids number one man. M. Goucher would have a 7 point night while the Brewery's A. Morozov would have six. The two forwards are now tied with 28 points each for the league lead. The scoring race is tight as so is the division with the Flids and Bay Brewery being only separated by a point and the Dragons trailing by two. In the Bay Brewery win C. Johnson would receive second star honors with a two goal and an assist evening as Flids Capo J. Flip was good for a trick and an assist for a four point game in his victory. Both the Brewery's and Flids goal keeps V. Leoung and S. Balsan played solid games between the pipes in route to improving their Goals Against Average. Dragons and the Mad Men were involved in a back and forth battle that would need a shoot-out to settle who would grab the extra point. With the Dragons taking a one goal lead into the third the Mad Men would tie the game early on in the final session. Dragons would bury the next two as the Mad Men would storm back for three straight goals to take a one goal lead with time running out. But Dragons Dee man N. Mazolla would knot the game again this time at seven with only 1:16 remaining that would eventually force an overtime. In Draft play we go straight to the shoot-out if regulation wasn't enough. The Shoot-out would go 2-1 the Dragons way with Mazolla getting the game winner. Laws of Flatbush would tally with only :04 left in the first on a Ewald goal as J. Gale secured the winner in the third with a Power Play score. L.O.F's goalie Verrico would be stingy between the steel letting up none while taking the 2-0 shut out win. Team stats, League Leader and Standings pages have been updated.

1/22 Week 8 Schedules posted.

1/22 Shooting Blanks edge Marine Park, Unit get a scare and the Reapers stay strong! The Shooting Blanks would take a 2-0 lead into the third period on lone goals in the first and the second periods by J. Cazza and P. Mulroy. Marine Park would get back within on a N. Dimisi goal with 8:27 to go but Blanks goalie A. Manno would hold down the forth the rest of the way in this epic 2-1 battle. Marine Park goalie R. Dimisi was just as good in the loss making many huge saves to keep the game close. With the win the Shooting Blanks keep pace with the first place Reapers who won their sixth straight of the season and seventeenth overall. M. Erichson would open the scoring for the Reapers in the first as Gravesends C. Sbrigato would tie the game early in the second. But then J. Clingo would take control! Scoring in the second taking a 2-1 Reapers lead into the third, then scoring the next two in the final session for a natural hat-trick and a 4-1 Reapers lead and finally the win. B. Roseslli would give the Unit a 1-0 lead 6:05 into the first but Glen Santos would strike back for the Phantoms to even the game at one. S. Kasimis would bang home a goal with 2:23 left into the second for a 2-1 lead that would hold up to be the game winner. Unit's goalie G. Maronitis and Phantoms netminder A. Pedalinao were both stingy in this game in our second 2-1 game on the evening. All Stats and Standings have been updated and the rest of season schedule will be posted shortly.

1/21 There'll be no perfect season in the Bay! Zorros win, Mad Man redeem in the shoot-out, Dragons get explosive in the third and in our lone BIG B match the Kings win! After a 4-0 start to the season J. Hetzler and his Zorros hand the Flids their first loss of the season. The Zorros did it with a 5-4 nail biting victory. J. Monello lead the way with a two goal two assist night but the game winner would belong to Wayne Thompson as he also hooked up a goal for a two point game while shouting there's two referring to the poll below. Bay Brewery would trail 6-3 with only six minutes left to play but were able to tally three times to force the Shoot-out. The Shoot Out would go the Mad Men's way as the Bay Brewery were happy to get the point out of the game in the tight draft race as the whole division is only separated by five points. A. Morozov and B. Barbuto would put up a hat-trick each for the Brew in the loss while the Mad Mens M. Dellecamelie put home two and also got the game winner in the shoot out. P. Mulroy was also good for two goals and S. Noto had a goal and two assists. The Dragons would trail 3-1 going into the third but would erupt six times in the final session and take a 7-5 win. R. Conte put home four for the Dragons with L. Morris hooking up three. J. Jensen of BMW put up all five of his teams goals and gets himself back into the scoring race which he owns since the draft started. The Draft scoring race heats up! A. Morozov takes over the lead with 22 points followed by Mike Goucher with 21 and Joe Jensen with 20. In the BIG B game the Kings M. Diccico and W. 1/15 All pages have been updated, Week 7 schedule will be posted later in the day.

1/15 The Unit foil a Come back, Reapers dominate, Marine Park even their record and Laws of Flatbush drop the gavel. Shooting Blanks made a furious comeback wiping out a three goal deficit in the third, scoring the last two goals at 3:14 and :43 to even the score at four. But just 1:40 into the extra session G. Konstantin of the Unit would finish off his hat-trick and grab the game winner in over time. Great Game! Footage of the game will be posted shortly. Reapers win their fifth straight of the season moving to 5-0 following their championship. So the question was raised and a look in the archives was needed. What is the Reapers current win steak at? The Reapers current win steak is at 16 games. Their last loss was to Bergen Beach back in week three of last season. The record for most consecutive wins by a team is by the East River Rats / Astoria Lightning at 31 straight wins. Coming in Second is Bergen Beach at 19 straight wins. The Reapers current win steak and still going strong is currently at 16 as they surpassed Marine Park for third place with their win in the first game of this season which was twelve. Marine Park reach the .500 mark behind hat-tricks from N. Demasi and R. Abdelhamid. R. Zurawski also put up two goals for the Park while M. DelleCamelie banged home two for Gravesend in the loss. The Gale brothers would hook up for the fist goal of the night for L.O.F while donning their new threads as the team would put up two goals in each period. The Quad Father made is second career appearance in goal and pulled himself after a two goal deficit going into the third to supply some extra offense. But L.O.F was on their game last night and took a 6-2 win while winning their second straight as they also move to .500 on the season. Two nights worth of stats will be worked on later in the day.

1/14 Flids stay perfect through four, Bay Brewery keep pace and the Dragons pull out a winner. It was Draft night in the Bay and it was a good one. With every game being decided by a goal the Bay Brewery and BMW would kick off the night. Bay Brewery built a two goal lead late in the third but BMW would storm back with two goals in the closing minutes of play to force the shoot-out. The Shoot-out would go 1-0 to the Bay Brewery on a A. Morozov goal and Vic Leoung was perfect going three for three getting the Brewery the much needed two points. The second game of the night between the Dragons and Zorros was just as close. In a game that was 6-1 at one point lead by the Dragons, the Zorros would tie the game at 3:41 of the third. But with only nine tics left in regulation Dragons R. Muzuchin would take a blast from the point that R. Conte would redirect home for the game winner. G. Sorino was good for a hat-trick in the Dragons win while J. "the infamous" Hetzler of the Zorros had a career night. Scoring a hat-trick and an assist while only notching two penalty minutes. AJ Benzer also had an assist for the Zorros picking up from where he left off just a week ago. The 4-0 Flids get a W on a fluke goal late in the game off the "Quad Father's stick". The Mad Men had a two goal lead midway though the third but the Flids would fight back with three unanswered goals and a 6-5 win. M. Goucher had a four point night for the Flids with a trick and an assist as he already has twenty points on the season only four games in. The Flids M. Byrnes also had a big five point night with two goals and three assists. Draft Standings have been updated as Team Stats and League Leader pages will be updated later in the day.

1/8 Week 6 Schedule Posted and new videos coming over the weekend.

1/8 All Pages have been updated, this weeks schedule coming later in the day.

1/8 Laws of Flatbush earn a win, Reapers and Blanks connect as The Unit take an OT Battle. Laws of the Bush 91 and Rios had two goals each on their way to a 5-2 victory that was good for two points and get a W under their belts. The Reapers would put up eight with strong second and third period efforts while getting scoring from seven different skaters as my assistant in the booth K. Escobar pointed out. Dooley was the one that connected twice for the Reapers. These guys look tuff defending their title, can anyone stop them? Maybe P. Mulroy and his Blanks could they had a big night wiping out an early three goal deficit and putting up eight. Mulroy had five goals and looks more determined then ever this season. Can he win his first scoring title in the Bay? Poll to come. In upsetting news the Astoria Lightning have dropped out of play, moving on we were thinking of going back to the regular system in the playoffs and leaving behind the tier system as many of the teams in the league are strong. So far it's a 3-0 vote to go back to the regular system and we will finalize the decision by next weeks games. As Astoria dropped out a scramble to get a game in for the Unit was on and Marine Park were able to get five heads down and fill the spot. It would be the game of the night. Marine Park would jump out to a two goal lead but the Unit would answer back with three straight goals. With time winding down R. Abdelhamid was able to hit A. Morozov in front of the goal to tie the game at three with :47 left in regulation that lead into OT. With back and forth action in the extra session we looked like we would need a shoot-out to settle this one with Marine Park on the power play and only :10 left. A face-off out side the zone lead to a bouncing puck over the Park defense and Unit captain N. Divittorio would jump on it for a breakaway as he was able to rip one home while the Park goalie got a piece of it, it trickled on though for the game winner with :04 left. It was Divittorio second of the night. Great night of Hockey in the Bay as the weather was perfect for skating. With that said all stats are being worked on now and will be updated shortly.

1/7 BIG Night in Draft league play as all teams were active. The Flids go three for three, Mad Men get their first win and Bay Brewery bounce back. In the lone BIG B game Marine Park would notch their first win of the season. P. Rykala's Mad Men get in the W column! Their big second period proved to be the difference putting up three goals to none in the middle session. Their number one pick third over all, P. Mulroy had a big night with five goals and an assist. The Flids stay perfect on the young season moving to 3-0 behind a huge game from M. Goucher. Scoring six of his teams seven goals for a six point night the Flids left with a 7-4 win. Was Gouch the right choice for the first pick over all? In the loss, Zorros A.J. Benzer was good for a goal and an assist. A. Morozov aka "The Russian Rocket" would have his Draft coming out party in his rookie draft season. Also having a six point night all goals he would add an assist and helped get the Bay Brewery to 2-1 on the season. All first round picks on the winners side had big games putting up big numbers on the night. Morozov would pick up where he left off in his Draft league game and carried it over into BIG B for the Park. Putting up seven points, Alex would have four goals and three assists while the Park where able to over come a two goal deficient and take a 9-5 win. Good Hockey in the Bay last night as we'll be updating all other pages later in the day. 1/6 Four New Featured Videos below and a bunch of new videos added to the all new videos page. Enjoy!
